Searching for and applying for scholarships can be overwhelming, but the right strategies can make all the difference! In our virtual Scholarships Seminar on March 12, 2025, we explored how to unlock scholarship opportunities, what it takes to stand out to selection committees, common myths and realities about private scholarships, how AI tools can simplify the search, and more. Who: 7th-12th grade students, their families, and school counselors.

What: Learn how to find, apply for, and earn private scholarships to help pay for college. Across the country, community organizations, foundations, non-profits, and corporations offer private scholarships to students through a separate nomination or application process. These scholarships can add up and significantly help cover college costs. At this seminar, you will:

  • Understand the ins and outs of private and outside scholarships.

  • Learn how to identify private scholarships that match your profile.

  • Hear from scholarship organizations on how they review applications and select recipients.

  • Explore how AI tools can help find scholarship opportunities.

  • Discover when and how to apply for scholarships as early as middle school and throughout college.

Where: Virtual.

When: Wednesday, March 12th, 2025, 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. (MST).

Why: Your financial aid package from your college may not be enough — this seminar will help you explore additional scholarship options. It’s never too early or too late to apply for private scholarships.
